This is my third cover so I can say they reliably last three years but, where fitted, you do have to cover the wing mirrors or they will go through the cover. I used cut down milk bottles (plastic of course).
Advantages: Economic way to protect a vehicle kept outdoors.
Disadvantages: Got to do a bit of patching up as cover gets to the end of it's life but that's no big deal.
